Winter at the Grape Escape:
We are officially in our new building at 272 E Main St. and the clients and staff have done an amazing job making it feel like home. We hosted an open house and had an amazing turn out. The community support that was shown during this move was outstanding. We still have a few spots open at both Grape Escape and Grape Escape, TOO. It may have gotten colder outside, but that has not stopped our amazing clients from working hard!! Our clients continue to sew pillows for the local hospitals, laundry for our elderly community, and various office jobs. Our clients also assist with preparing weekly menus, grocery shopping, budgeting, and cooking. When our clients are not working hard, they are working on crafts to decorate our buildings for the current month, playing bingo, dancing & singing, exercising, playing games, and socializing. Stop in anytime between 9am-3pm for a visit to see the amazing work our clients are doing daily.
Looking forward to the next few weeks we will continue to serve our elderly members in the community, decorate for Valentine’s Day, exercise, work hard, and as always have fun!!
